Job summary

Energy Safety Canada is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide guidance and support on all HR matters and to lead end-to-end delivery of HR programs and systems.

You will handle recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and performance processes, while collaborating with the HR Manager to support company goals and maintain confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in HR or business administration.
• CPHR designation is an asset.
• 5+ years in HR, generalist preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; Experience with Workforce Now is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in HR programs (recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, performance).
• Respond to inquiries and advise on HR best practices.
• Advise managers on disability, compensation, performance, recruitment, policy application.
• Collaborate with HR Manager to support ESC goals and resources.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding administration (orientations, terminations, exit interviews).
• Prepare contractual documents (offer letters, termination letters, extensions).
• Other duties as required.
