Job summary

Bartle & Gibson in Edmonton is seeking a customer-focused counter associate to deliver exceptional service and process inquiries and orders. You will source materials, manage stock, and maintain a clean, welcoming sales area while building long-term relationships with customers.

This role requires high school diploma, knowledge of plumbing/electrical/heating products is an asset, and you will work six days per week with a half-day on Friday and Saturday.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, Electrical or Heating are assets.
• Knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical and Heating industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at counter and over the phone.
• Respond to inquiries and process incoming calls and orders.
• Process orders in the system.
• Source materials when not in stock.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Handle returns as required.
• Keep counter and sales area clean.
• Merchandise and showcase products.
• Work six days per week with a half day on Friday and Saturdays.
