Job summary

Modern Niagara is seeking an HVAC Account Manager in Calgary, Alberta, reporting to the Director of Sales, Western Canada. You will grow client relationships within the HVAC service portfolio, pursue maintenance agreements and retrofit projects, and ensure superior contract performance and customer satisfaction.

This role focuses on driving growth, maintaining long-term partnerships, and delivering energy-efficient building solutions while meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HVAC and Plumbing service sales or related mechanical field.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, maintenance, and building operations.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships in technical/service environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, ensuring HVAC and mechanical service and maintenance needs are met.
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships and maintain regular communication with facility and property managers.
• Conduct site visits to review contract performance and equipment condition; identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform quarterly business reviews with clients.
• Provide quotes for service repairs and small retrofit projects.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients; develop and present proposals for PM programs and energy optimization.
• Coordinate with service and project teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of work.
• Monitor contracts to ensure compliance with scope, budget, and customer expectations.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Achieve sales and renewal targets; manage account profitability and prepare forecasts.
