Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. in Calgary is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to partner with mill leadership.

This on-site role provides advice, coaching and policy guidance across management and first-line leaders to help drive organizational performance and a robust talent pipeline in a heavy industrial environment. You will build strong relationships, ensure fair, confidential HR processes, lead training initiatives and support succession, performance, and safety programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, organizational development, management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Comfort working in a heavy industrial mill/manufacturing environment.
• Mature, collaborative, hands on, and tactically focused leader.
• Organized, communicative and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key HR Business Partner to mill Superintendents, General Supervisors and first-line leaders with exceptional collaboration and relationship-building.
• Provide advice, counsel and coaching on all matters relating to human capital and ensure HR priorities align with business strategy.
• Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline for technical positions and support cultural change toward a collaborative environment.
• Develop, manage and enhance training and development programs and provide consultative support to management on policy application.
• Maintain integrity, professionalism, fairness and confidentiality in all aspects of job performance.
• Co-located with mill leadership to drive hands-on HR support in a heavy industrial setting.
