Job summary

City of Calgary is seeking an experienced HR Application Analyst to sustain and configure SaaS/cloud platforms including ALP and LMS. You will work with IT, vendors, and partners to keep systems aligned with corporate needs while driving adoption across the organization.

The role emphasizes configuring systems for performance development, succession, and learning management modules, with responsibilities spanning testing, reporting, training, and change management.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field with at least 5 years of experience in HR or IT.
• Experience with Adaptive Learning Platform (ALP), LMS, or similar SaaS/cloud platforms and their configuration.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, or SAP Business Objects is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships.
• Accountability, problem-solving, attention to detail, and results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SaaS/cloud-based system components and data, troubleshoot issues, test, verify, and keep the system current with vendor releases.
• Promote system adoption by addressing business unit needs and configuring tailored solutions for performance development, succession management, and learning modules.
• Collaborate with vendors, clients, and partners to ensure integration of HR platforms and support change management.
• Lead and maintain networks such as the LMS working group and corporate advocates.
• Support employees, leaders, HR, and learning communities with troubleshooting and data issues.
• Create documentation, e-learning, quick reference guides, and deliver in-person training.
• Determine, create, and run standard reports and provide system data as required.
• Audit system access to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
