Job summary

Pantos Logistics Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced HR leader to guide talent acquisition, workforce planning, and payroll oversight within our Canadian operation. You will partner with managers, mentor HR staff, and help shape onboarding, performance management, and employee development programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of progressive HR experience, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Bilingual English/Korean is a strong asset; CHRL/PCP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field.
• 8+ years HR experience with 2+ years leading an HR team.
• 1 year payroll processing or oversight (ADP preferred).
• Knowledge of federal and provincial employment laws.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations and conflict resolution.
• Experience in HR strategy, workforce planning and HR initiatives.
• Experience presenting HR reports and analytics (PPT/visual).
• Bilingual English and Korean is a strong asset.
• CHRL and/or PCP certification preferred.

Job Duties

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

• Oversee recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and hiring KPIs; advise managers on candidate selection.
• Manage and mentor recruitment team members, ensuring effective execution of hiring plans.
• Design and oversee onboarding and employee development programs; coach managers and HR team on performance management and engagement.
• Oversee payroll processes handled by Payroll Specialist, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of escalated issues.
• Manage compensation structure, job evaluations, and employee benefits programs.

3. HR Policies, Compliance & Employee Relations

• Maintain and communicate HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements to stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with labor laws, conduct investigations, and address employee grievances and workplace conflicts.

4. Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare and present weekly/monthly HR reports to senior management using PPT and visual analytics, providing insights and recommendations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Employment Relations, Payroll, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years leading or supervising an HR team.
• Minimum 1 year of payroll processing or payroll oversight experience (ADP or similar systems preferred).
• Working knowledge of federal and provincial employment legislation.
• Experience handling employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Experience in HR strategy, workforce planning, and leading HR initiatives.
• Experience preparing and presenting HR reports and analytics to senior management (PPT/visual reporting preferred).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is a strong asset.
• CHRL and/or PCP certification (or actively working toward certification) is preferred.
