Job summary

Baycrest is seeking an Advisor, HR Shared Services Centre to join the Human Resources team in Toronto. The role focuses on delivering a range of HR programs including benefits administration, onboarding, and recruitment for unionised roles, under the Manager, Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Services Centre.

The successful candidate will handle HRIS updates, letters, and communications, train hiring managers, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely HR service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) is an asset.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR administration, benefits management, or a related field.
• Experience with recruitment processes is an asset.
• Experience in a unionised setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HR Shared Services operations including benefits administration, leave management, onboarding, transfers and terminations.
• Manage HRIS changes, personnel data updates, and employee files.
• Draft HR letters including offers, terminations and transfers.
• Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires and administer benefits and HOOPP pension plan.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for internally posted unionised roles and support non-union roles as needed.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and respond to inquiries from employees and managers.
• Maintain accurate HR records, audits, and reporting; generate HR metrics.
