Job summary

OBSI, Canada’s Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments, is seeking an Advisor, Human Resources to support HR programs and services across the organization. Based in Toronto with a hybrid workplace, you will partner with managers and employees to ensure compliant, positive employee experiences.

You will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, training, and performance review processes, while maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring privacy and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in HR, business, or related field.
• CHRP designation or progress toward it is an asset.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, leaves and accommodations.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, onboarding and offers.
• Support payroll processes and liaise with service providers.
• Coordinate staff training and maintain training records.
• Assist with performance review administration and reporting.
