Job summary

Terra Dygital seeks an HR Generalist to manage the full employee lifecycle with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. This hands-on role collaborates with employees, managers, and leadership to keep HR operations running smoothly.

You will handle onboarding, benefits administration, and respond to employee inquiries while supporting Toronto office administration as needed. Ideal for a proactive HR professional seeking broad responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role, with strong experience in recruitment and employee lifecycle support.
• Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPHR designation or working toward a CPHR is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment across a variety of roles, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer preparation.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system setup, orientation, and ensuring a positive employee experience.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and responding to employee questions.
• Provide initial support to employees and managers on employee relations matters and escalating more complex issues as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files.
• Support the administration and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Coordinate performance management processes, including scheduling, documentation, tracking, and follow-up.
• Support the execution of HR programs, initiatives, and cyclical processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide responsive and effective HR support.
• Provide backup support for payroll processing, including data entry and validation.
• Assist with maintaining accurate payroll and employee data.
• Support payroll-related inquiries and administrative requirements as needed.
• Provide general administrative and office support for the Toronto office as required.
