Job summary

Randstad Canada seeks an experienced Human Resources Generalist to lead full-cycle recruitment, ensure employment standards compliance, and manage workplace investigations. This role supports payroll, HRIS data integrity, and onboarding/offboarding processes to sustain a compliant, high-performing workplace.

Initially remote onboarding, the role will transition to a fully on-site 5-days-per-week environment in a new Calgary facility, focusing on Alberta-specific regulations and workforce safety.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in HRM, Business Admin, or IR.
• 3–5 years progressive HR Generalist experience.
• Experience with Alberta ESA/Employment standards and WCB Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Interpret Employment Standards Code and advise management.
• Manage WCB Alberta processes and return-to-work plans.
• Lead employee relations investigations and corrective actions.
• Support payroll workflows and ROE issuance.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and onboarding/offboarding.
