Job summary

Mainroad Alberta Contracting LP in Red Deer, Alberta, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator - Recruitment to support our growing operations. This full‑time salaried role reports to the HR Manager and focuses on end‑to‑end recruitment and HRIS administration.

You will partner with managers across Alberta and Interior British Columbia, coordinate postings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, support onboarding, and advise on employee relations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in HR management is required or preferred.
• CPHR designation or working toward it is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in HR with full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG or similar systems.
• Ability to operate in a multi-operational organization with centralized HR support.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition – coordinate full-cycle recruitment for operating companies.
• Onboarding – coordinate and support onboarding during mobilization of acquired operations.
• Employee Relations – advise managers on employee relations, coaching and discipline.
