Job summary

Caivan is seeking a knowledgeable HR Generalist to provide full-spectrum HR support from onboarding to immigration compliance. You will work with the HR Manager to ensure consistent, compliant employee experiences across the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in HR, a background in Ontario employment standards, and proficiency with HRIS/ADP. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Ottawa with opportunities to contribute to policy and reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in HR generalist/coordinator roles.
• Solid understanding of Ontario employment standards and HR best practices.
• Integrity, tact, and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support employee relations and investigations under guidance.
• Maintain HR App/HRIS profiles, data integrity, and reporting exports.
• Administer onboarding/offboarding end-to-end and immigration processes.
• Own HR policies and employee handbook, ensure legal alignment.
• Manage WSIB claims and return-to-work programs with safety collaboration.
• Support performance review cycles and HR metrics reporting.
• Be first point of contact for general employee inquiries and ad hoc projects.
