Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking an HR Generalist to manage HR operations, recruiting, benefits, training, and HRIS maintenance. You will work with leaders across the organization to improve policies and processes while supporting the employee lifecycle from hiring to termination.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least one year in HR, with PHR/SPHR preferred. Spanish speaking is a plus; confidentiality and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in Human Resources; PHR or SPHR preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Strong customer service and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes and interruptions.
• Leadership skills and ability to motivate others.
• Knowledge of personnel administration and English communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Align HR services with business leaders and HR goals.
• Suggest improvements to policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support all stages of the employment lifecycle from recruiting to termination.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation on policies and laws.
• Handle employee inquiries and service requests.
• Support company training programs.
• Maintain employee data in the HRIS.
• Document disciplinary actions, transfers, and terminations.
• Address employee relations issues and harassment concerns.
• Coordinate with safety team on injuries and safety compliance.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality.
