Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Coordinator II in Edmonton for the Christmas Kettle Campaign. This hybrid, full-time role oversees multiple kettle locations within a zone, trains and supervises volunteers, and ensures secure handling of donations while maintaining strong donor relations.

The position runs for a seasonal term with 40 hours per week, paying $22.00 per hour. Candidates should be customer-service oriented, with high school completion and one year of related experience

Responsibilities

• Attend training/orientation on The Salvation Army and the Christmas Kettle Campaign
• Ensure all kettle donations are delivered to secure location at shift end
• Supervise and support kettle volunteers
• Recruit volunteers as needed
• Communicate daily with campaign team and partners
• Manage timesheets and mileage reports weekly
• Answer donor questions about SA ministries and programs
• Uphold confidentiality and safety standards
