Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Coordinator II for a short-term contract to oversee multiple Christmas Kettle locations across a zone. You will train volunteers, schedule kettles, and ensure donations are secured and reported.

This role requires a valid driver's license, good communication skills, and the ability to lift 9–12 kgs. Compensation ranges from CAD 18.50 to 27.76 per hour, with accommodations where needed.

Qualifications

• Willing to support The Salvation Army mission and comply with OH&S policies.
• One year of related experience or customer service experience.
• High school completion is preferred; valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Kettle locations and coordinate volunteers across shifts.
• Train volunteers on Kettle duties and safety procedures.
• Ensure donations are secured and reported to the secure location.
• Communicate daily with coordinators about issues and needs.
• Remain with Kettle during shifts and assist with donor inquiries.
