Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a temporary Christmas Kettle Assistant to help organize and supervise kettle campaign activities. You will coordinate staff and volunteers, schedule shifts, and ensure secure handling of donations across kettle sites.

Responsibilities include overseeing operations, maintaining site relationships, and supporting logistics such as delivery and pickup of kettles and supplies. Strong admin and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Completed high school or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related community-based program experience is an asset.
• Experience in office administration and with Word/Excel.
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License with up-to-date abstract.

Responsibilities

• Assist with promoting, coordinating and overseeing kettle campaign activities.
• Schedule staff and volunteers and manage coverage and breaks.
• Oversee operations of the kettle campaign and ensure donations are secure.
• Coordinate kettle delivery/pickup to sites and support literature at locations.
