The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a Kettle Coordinator II for its Christmas Kettle Campaign. The role oversees multiple kettle locations within a defined zone, coordinating mall, grocery store, and retail placements during the campaign period.

You will train, deploy kettles, supervise volunteers, and ensure secure handling of donations, while maintaining strong communication with the campaign team and community partners.

Competenze

• Willingness to develop an understanding and support for The Salvation Army in Canada.
• Experience in customer service or related fields is preferred.
• Able to supervise volunteers and coordinate logistics in a mall/retail environment.
• Ability to maintain donor confidentiality and handle petty cash securely.

Mansioni

• Attend training/onboarding for The Salvation Army and the Christmas Kettle Campaign.
• Provide support in deploying kettles to zone locations before volunteers arrive.
• Ensure all kettle donations are secured at shift end.
• Communicate daily issues to the City/Assistant Coordinator.
• Supervise and assist volunteers during the campaign.
• Recruit new volunteers and coordinate shifts.
• Monitor locations during shift changes and coordinate with partners.
• Submit timesheets and mileage reports accurately on a weekly basis.
• Remain at kettles for full shifts to ensure donation security.
• Answer donor questions about SA ministries and programs.
