Stoakley-Stewart Consultants Ltd. in Mississauga, ON, seeks a senior environmental consultant specializing in buildings and hazardous materials to lead DSS assessments and remediation coordination.

You will interface with insurers, property owners, and remediation contractors, manage scopes of work, and guide projects from assessment through remediation, with field and client-facing responsibilities.

Competenze

• 5–10 years of experience in hazardous building materials / HAZMAT consulting.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario regulations related to asbestos, lead, mould, and designated substances.

Mansioni

• Conducting and coordinating Designated Substance Surveys (DSS) and hazardous materials assessments.
• Working on properties impacted by insurance-related events (fire, flood, environmental damage).
• Acting as the key liaison between insurance clients, property owners, and remediation contractors.
• Preparing scopes of work, budgets, proposals, and technical reports.
• Attending site inspections, stakeholder meetings, and project reviews.
• Monitoring remediation and abatement activities to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
