Job summary

Stoakley-Stewart Consultants Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Project Coordinator to support hazardous materials and environmental consulting projects within a fast-paced setting in Ontario.

You will work with Project Managers, field staff, contractors, laboratories, and clients to coordinate activities, support field operations, manage documentation, and drive projects from initiation to completion. Qualifications

• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings and project documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental and hazardous materials projects from initiation through completion.
• Support asbestos, lead, mould, silica, mercury, PCB assessments and remediation projects.
• Assist with scheduling field staff, site visits, inspections, and project activities.
• Coordinate communication between clients, contractors, laboratories, and internal teams.
• Participate in site inspections, assessments, and sample collection as required.
• Assist with preparation of technical reports, proposals, and client deliverables.
• Support project budgeting, tracking, and administrative coordination.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely deliverables.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and maintaining documentation standards.
• Attend project meetings and support client communications.
