Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is seeking a Guest Services Agent to warmly welcome guests and assist them throughout their stay, helping with luggage and facilitating a smooth arrival and departure. This is a full-time permanent role starting as soon as possible.

The position offers an hourly starting rate of 18.80 CAD, with increases after 6 months and yearly up to 3 years, reaching 22.20 CAD. Prior guest service experience is an asset and staff meals and accommodations are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid BC driver's license with a clean record.
• Class 5 driver's license.
• Previous experience in a Guest Service capacity is an asset.
• Subsidized staff accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting guests, and helping them with their luggage upon arrival and departure.
• Safely parking any valet vehicles.
• Acting as a liaison between the hotel and our guests, responding to guest requests and concerns in a personal, prompt and courteous manner.
• Knowledgeable about all hotel related information, including promotions, menus, hours of service, facilities, and guest rooms.

This is a full-time, permanentposition beginning as soon as possible.

Starting Rate of Pay:$18.80 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $22.20.

Job Duties Include:
