Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is seeking an Overnight Security Agent to ensure the safety of guests, employees and the property. This full-time, permanent role starts in October 2026, with an initial pay rate of $25.40 per hour and scheduled increases after 6 months and after three years up to $31.30 per hour.

You will conduct patrols, report incidents, manage crowd control, and assist guests with hotel facilities.

Qualifications

• Security/hospitality experience is required.
• OFA Level 2 First Aid Certification required.
• Class 5 Driver's License is required.
• Possess a valid British Columbia Basic Security Training (BST) License.
• Subsidized staff accommodation provided.

Overnight Security Agent

You ensure the safety and wellbeing of your fellow employees, guests and visitors. You are attentive, efficient and committed, and will ensure your property remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.

This is a full-time, permanent position, starting October 2026.

Starting Rate of Pay:$25.40 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $31.30.
