Job summary

Mary Brown's Chicken is seeking team members to support on-site kitchen operations. You will assist with food preparation, packaging for take-out, and serving customers at counters and buffet areas. Training will be provided as no prior experience is required.

Work is performed at the physical location, in a fast-paced environment, with duties including dish handling, stocking, cleaning, and assisting with order taking. A team-oriented, reliable approach is valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Keep records of the quantities of food used.
• Package take-out food.
• Portion and wrap foods; prepare, heat and finish simple items.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take customers' orders.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers and storage areas.
• Remove garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
