Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Canada seeks a Project Coordinator (Time and Material) to manage shop drawings, RFIs, changes, and subcontractor billings with accuracy and contractual compliance. The role requires 2–4 years of billing experience in construction and CISD reliability clearance.

You will collaborate with owners, architects, contractors and engineers, review schedules, and conduct quality control to ensure progress records remain up-to-date. A strong team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for CISD Reliability clearance.
• 2–4 years or more experience with billing in Construction Industry.
• Experience administering multiple, large Time & Material contracts.
• Experience in Mechanical & Electrical Construction sector.
• Working knowledge of scheduling and project management software.
• Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and required standards applicable to discipline.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Ability to assume responsibility and to interface and communicate effectively with others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional representation of the company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shop drawings, track the status of RFIs and changes.
• Review subcontractor billings for completeness, contractual compliance, and accuracy, ensuring all required backup documentation is provided and aligns with the amounts billed.
• Prepare and set up Expenditure Authorizations in accordance with project requirements.
• Work alongside and regularly communicate with owners, architects, contractors and engineers.
• Review, interpret and update construction schedules.
• Conduct quality control activities, inspection programs and periodic updating of construction progress records.
• Work under the guidance of the Project Manager and Superintendent, learn EllisDon systems and methods.
• Assist in plan and spec analysis to provide clear, trackable interpretations of design/drawings.
• Act as liaison with subcontractors in expediting drawings and related information.
• Maintain logs (RFI, Vendor/Subcontractor, Purchase, Owner etc.), track responses and advise the PM and Superintendent of status.
