Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Canada is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction from pre-construction through completion, coordinating design, budget, schedule with the Superintendent, and ensuring timely owner communications.

The role requires a construction-related degree or diploma and 8–15 years of experience, with preference for candidates who have led building projects, managed scopes, scheduling, and contract software, while mentoring a large team and maintaining strong client

Qualifications

Construction degree or diploma required.
8–15 years of construction experience or equivalent.
Experience managing building projects preferred.
Working knowledge of construction scopes, scheduling, project management and contract software.

Responsibilities

Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule with the Superintendent.
Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
Meet with Owners in a professional manner and communicate concerns and best interests of the company.
Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring alignment with the estimate and positive cash flow.
Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s development and progression.
Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate project progress and risks to management.
