Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Project Coordinator (Time and Material) to support the PM team on Time & Material contracts. You will maintain shop drawings, track RFIs and changes, and prepare Expenditure Authorizations while coordinating with owners, architects, contractors and engineers.

The role requires 2–4 years (or more) of billing experience in construction, plus familiarity with scheduling and project management software.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years or more experience with billing in Construction Industry.
• Experience administering multiple Time & Material contracts.
• Experience in Mechanical & Electrical Construction sector.
• Working knowledge of scheduling and project management software.
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with Owners, Architects, Contractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shop drawings, track RFIs and changes.
• Review subcontractor billings for completeness and accuracy, ensuring required backup is provided.
• Prepare and set up Expenditure Authorizations per project requirements.
• Work with owners, architects, contractors and engineers.
• Review, interpret and update construction schedules.
• Assist in plan and spec analysis to provide clear interpretations of drawings.
• Act as liaison with subcontractors in expediting drawings and related information.
• Maintain logs (RFI, Vendor/Subcontractor, Purchase, Owner) and advise PM and Superintendent on RFI status.
