Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Canada seeks a Planning and Scheduling Coordinator to help develop full CPM baselines and monitor progress on major projects. You will participate in pursuit planning sessions, respond to RFPs, and maintain schedule data and reports for schedule health reviews.

You should have 1–2 years of scheduling experience, knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project, and familiarity with Lean Last Planner concepts. An AACE/PMI PSP or PMI-SP designation would be an asset.

Qualifications

• 12 months to 2 years of scheduling experience.
• Familiar with Lump Sum, Design Build, Construction Management and Unit Price.
• Understand major construction elements: Building Structure, Enclosure, Fit out, MEIT, Commissioning and close-out.
• Knowledge of planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Understand the submittal process and track key elements.
• Lean Construction and Last Planner familiarity.
• Familiar with quantity take-offs and productivity factors.
• Communication with site team for schedule updates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing full CPM baseline schedules.
• Attend planning sessions during pursuits and respond to RFPs.
• Evaluate construction progress and prepare schedule health reports.
• Maintain the project schedule log.
• Develop/maintain a database of productivity rates and lead times.
• Identify unplanned events and incorporate impacts into the schedule.
• Develop as-built vs as-planned schedules for snapshot comparisons.
