Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a Project Coordinator to support pre-construction, procurement and field teams on complex construction projects. You will maintain accurate shop drawings, track RFIs, review subcontractor RFIs, and coordinate meetings between subcontractors and consultants to resolve issues.

You will work with owners, architects, contractors and engineers, assist the Project Manager and Superintendent, and help update project schedules and progress records.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• Working knowledge of scheduling and project management software.
• Ability to work positively within a team to achieve project completion.
• Experience on ICI projects and leadership experience is an asset.
• Must be eligible for CISD Secret Level Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shop drawings.
• Track the status of RFIs and changes.
• Review Subcontractor RFIs and coordinate resolutions with Consultants.
• Coordinate meetings between Subcontractors and Consultants to resolve issues.
• Communicate with owners, architects, contractors and engineers.
• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with project administration and field work.
• Review and update construction schedules; conduct quality control activities and progress records.
