Job summary

EllisDon Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee construction management from pre-construction through completion on complex ICI projects in Canada. You will coordinate design, trades, and schedule with the site team and maintain strong client relations to ensure project success.

The role emphasizes budget control, timely billings, risk management, and clear communication with owners and architects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in ICI construction.
• Minimum 8 years in a Project Manager position.
• Experience with structural piling or concrete work is an asset.
• Ability to mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent.
• Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
• Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and communicate concerns and best interests of the company.
• Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow.
• Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression.
• Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated.
