Job summary

Goodness-Me in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a Keyholder/MOD to supervise store operations in the absence of management while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will greet customers, help locate items, manage inventory, assist with displays, and support team questions; you will also ensure clean, organized store conditions and accurate end-of-day processes. Flexible availability and supervisory experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in locating items; offer recommendations.
• Maintain product knowledge and ensure store standards.
• Replace stock, rotate inventory, assist with displays and inventory mgmt.
• Assist with loading/unloading and receiving warehouse stock.
• Resolve customer complaints and monitor end-of-day closing tasks.
• Lock up, set alarms and perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Your day-to-day:

Your role primarily involves greeting customers, offering help in locating items and making any suggestions or recommendations that may be appropriate. Other tasks and duties you may perform include:

• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.

• Replace used stock, rotate current stock, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels.
• Assist with display of merchandise.

• Assist with inventory management.
• Participate in all manner of store maintenance
• Receive and process warehouse stock products.
• Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices

As a Keyholder/MOD, your role is to ensure that store operations run smoothly in the absence of a store manager or assistant manager. Additional duties may include but are not limited to:

• Resolve customer complaints
• Complete Manager on Duty check list
• Check and log temperature checks
• Inspect and goods for incoming and outgoing shipments, reject damaged goods
• Ensure that all cleaning logs are being followed
• Support employees with questions or problems that arise
• Make end of day deposits
• Completing end of night closing lists
• Responsible for locking up and setting alarm
• Other duties as assigned
