Job summary

Bulk Barn in Ottawa seeks a Store Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Supervisor in daily operations and to uphold Bulk Barn standards.

You will coach staff, delegate tasks, assist customers, and handle cash transactions using the POS system. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe store environment while delivering excellent service.

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule including mornings, days, and evenings, requiring 12 to 25 hours per week.

Position Summary

A Store Key Holder assists the Store Manager and Supervisor in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• In absence of Store Manager, manage staff and ensure that Bulk Barn standards are upheld
• Coach and motivate staff to perform their duties to the best of their abilities
• Delegate tasks amongst employees
• Follow-up with employees to ensure the tasks are being executed correctly and in a timely manner
• Lead and assist workers in performing their day-to-day tasks
• Assist customers in a manner that exceeds customer expectations
• Process cash transactions using POS system and Interact terminal
• Clean store
• Restock store shelves
• Unload deliveries (in excess of 50 lbs.)
• Ensure the store is kept clean at all times
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time.

Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days and evenings, Monday through Sunday. Your availability must be approximately 12 to 25 hours per week.
