Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Grain team in Winnipeg. You will ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices, manage payables, and transition vendors to EFT payments while delivering excellent service to vendors and employees.

The role requires post-secondary education and at least one year in Accounts Payable, with strong attention to detail, organization, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education and a minimum of one year of Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage high transaction volumes.
• Professional, customer-focused communication style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process payment runs
• Review and process vendor invoices; respond to account inquiries
• Manage recurring payables and journal entries
• Transition vendors, customers, and producers from cheque to EFT payments
• Enter and process vendor invoices through AP automation software
