Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Grain team in Winnipeg. You will ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices, manage payables, and transition vendors to EFT payments while delivering excellent service to vendors and employees.

The role requires post-secondary education and at least one year in Accounts Payable, with strong attention to detail, organization, and proficiency in Excel.

Your Team

Grain & Crop Inputs: The Grain & Crop Inputs Division connects Canadian farmers to markets across the country and beyond. With a network of grain elevators, terminals, and agri-retail locations, we provide crop inputs, agronomic solutions, and grain marketing expertise to help producers succeed.

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Grain team. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate payment of business transactions for the Western Grain division and its affiliates, while providing customer service to vendors, suppliers, and employees.

Day to Day

• Process payment runs
• Review and process vendor invoices; respond to account inquiries
• Manage recurring payables and journal entries
• Transition vendors, customers, and producers from cheque to EFT payments
• Enter and process vendor invoices through AP automation software
