Job summary

Hamilton Robson in Toronto is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our global IT team. This role provides first-line support, onsite and remote assistance, and collaboration with colleagues across time zones.

You will install and support Windows, macOS and mobile devices, manage user accounts, and troubleshoot a range of hardware, software and network issues. The position offers exposure to industry-leading workplace technology.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ IT support/Helpdesk/Desktop support experience.
• Experience with Windows, macOS and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, Wi‑Fi and VPN connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support through the Service Desk.
• Install, configure and support Windows, macOS and mobile devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access across business systems.
• Set up equipment for new starters and support onboarding and offboarding.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and workplace technology issues.
• Support meeting room technology, Zoom Rooms and AV equipment.
• Maintain IT assets, loan equipment and inventory records.
• Perform device upgrades, replacements and operating system deployments.
• Escalate complex technical issues when required.
• Maintain IT documentation and knowledge articles.
• Support office technology for meetings and company events.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across IT services.
