AgeCare Ltd. in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.

You will guide Personal Support Workers, liaise with physicians, and ensure timely communication of any changes in resident status. You bring geriatric/rehabilitation experience, knowledge of relevant statutes, and a current CNO Certificate of Competence.

Formación

• Geriatric/rehabilitation long-term care nursing background.
• Knowledge of applicable statutes and standards (LTC Act, OHSA, etc.).
• Current CNO Certificate of Competence in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the RN to implement unit policies and procedures.
• Liaise with physicians and care team; report significant changes promptly.
• Provide direction to Personal Support Workers and participate in shift reports.
• Contribute to care planning and ensure resident needs are met.
