Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. in London, Ontario is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to deliver high-quality care to residents in collaboration with the care team.

You will provide nursing support, guide Personal Support Workers, and liaise with physicians to ensure timely responses to resident status changes. Ideal candidates bring geriatric or long-term care experience, a current Ontario Certificate of Competence, and knowledge of relevant acts and standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing.
• Familiarity with College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice and related acts.
• Current Certificate of Competence with good standing in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents in collaboration with the health care team.
• Direct Personal Support Workers and liaise with physicians and external partners.
• Participate in shift reports and notify physicians of changes in resident status.
