AgeCare is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide professional nursing care to residents in our long-term care setting in Ontario. You will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and guide Personal Support Workers to meet each resident's care needs.

In this role, you will liaise with physicians and the health care team, monitor resident status, and participate in shift reports to ensure continuity of care and resident wellbeing.

Formación

• Geriatric/rehabilitation or long-term care nursing background.
• Knowledge of applicable health acts and provincial regulations.
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario and good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care to residents in accordance with required medical care and practice.
• Provide direction to Personal Support Workers as defined by standards of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care team; notify physician of significant changes when needed.
• Participate in shift reports to inform the team of changes in resident status.
