Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. in Oakville, ON is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time role. The RN will coordinate resident care within the neighbourhood, leading shift reports and ensuring timely responses to status changes, orders, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing, current registration, and a strong background in geriatric or long-term care settings, with a focus on resident safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and active provincial registration.
• Knowledge of relevant Canadian acts and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood.
• Leads shift report with the health care team and informs members of changes in residents’ status.
• Reviews and processes physician orders per procedure and ensures timely implementation.
