AgeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to residents in long-term care settings in Vaughan, Canada. You will supervise Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers, coordinate services, and lead shift reports with the health care team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, active provincial registration, and strong knowledge of long-term care regulations. Salary ranges from $36.06 to $54.59 per hour, with benefits managed by the facility.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge and background in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing.
• Registration in good standing with provincial registry.
• Knowledge of applicable acts and regulations governing long-term care nursing.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and with other services within the residence.
• Leads shift report with health care team, ensuring all members are informed of changes in residents' status.
• Records significant changes in residents' condition and ensures documentation in the residents' chart adheres to policies.
• Reviews and processes physician orders per procedure and communicates processing difficulties to the Director of Care/Assistant Director of Care.
