AgeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team in the York Region, Ontario. The RN collaborates with the Director of Care to deliver resident care within his/her level of competency, providing safe, ethical nursing services and fostering a culture of respect and teamwork.

The role emphasizes coordinating services, leading shift reports, documenting resident changes, and ensuring timely implementation of physician orders.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Registration with provincial nursing registry in good standing.
• Knowledge of Canadian health acts and regulations relevant to nursing homes.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood.
• Leads shift reports with the health care team and informs of changes in residents’ status.
• Records significant changes in residents’ condition and ensures documentation complies with policies and standards.
• Reviews physician orders and ensures timely implementation.
• Communicates difficulties in processing physician orders to the Director of Care/Assistant Director of Care.
