AgeCare Woodhaven in Markham, Ontario is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our casual, part-time team. You will collaborate with the Director of Care to deliver safe, person-centered care to residents within your scope of practice, focusing on dignity, rights, and quality of life.

You will lead shift reports, coordinate nursing services with other care providers, review physician orders, and document changes accurately in resident charts, supporting a culture of respect, teamwork and continuous

Qualifications

Geriatric/long-term care nursing background and related activation, nursing, and personnel administration responsibilities.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and current provincial registration in good standing.

Responsibilities

Coordinate nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood.
Lead shift reports to keep the care team informed of resident status changes.
Record significant changes in residents’ condition and ensure chart documentation complies with policies.
Review and process physician orders promptly and communicate issues to the Director of Care.
Promote resident safety, teamwork, and a respectful, inclusive care environment.
