AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Ontario to provide resident care per established plans and maintain a safe environment. The role focuses on monitoring care, documenting information, and contributing to a compassionate, team-based setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care.

Responsibilities

• Monitors care to ensure it aligns with the plan of care by observing residents and reporting findings.
• Documents information pertaining to residents' care as directed.
• Attends in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops as directed.
• Assists in onboarding new staff as directed.
• Adheres to IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) policies and procedures.
