Job summary

AgeCare Woodhaven is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide resident care per care plans at our Markham location. You will monitor and document care, attend training, and help with onboarding while maintaining a safe environment for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning techniques for geriatric care.
• Familiar with bedside care procedures and simple treatments.
• Understanding IPAC policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitors care provided to residents and reports findings to supervisor.
• Documents information related to resident care as directed.
• Attends in-service education, staff meetings and workshops.
• Assists in onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follows IPAC policies and procedures at all times.
