AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate care to residents according to individualized care plans and to help identify changing resident needs. You will assist in maintaining a safe, respectful environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Formación

• Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in monitoring care to ensure it aligns with the care plan by observing residents and reporting findings to the supervisor.
• Assists in documenting information pertaining to resident care.
• Attends in-service education sessions, staff meetings and workshops as directed.
• Assists in onboarding new staff as directed.
• Follows IPAC policies and procedures.
