Qualifications

• Geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing background.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Knowledge of provincial nursing standards and acts.
• Current registration with provincial nursing college.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood.
• Leads shift report with health care team, ensuring all changes are communicated.
• Records significant changes in residents’ condition and documents in the chart per policies.
• Reviews and processes physician orders promptly and communicates issues to the Director of Care/Assistant Director of Care.
