Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing.
• Knowledge of applicable health and safety acts and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Provide direction to Personal Support Workers on the unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to meet residents' care needs.
• Participate in shift reports and ensure residents' status updates are communicated.
