Job summary

Northumberland County Housing Corporation's Golden Plough Lodge is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to join our long-term care team. You will lead the nursing team, collaborate across disciplines, and apply the nursing process to provide resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current RN in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Experience in long-term care.
• PIECES training or equivalent.
• Experience with dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the health care team and collaborate with all disciplines.
• Apply the nursing process in the provision of resident care.
• Analyze and apply gerontology knowledge to resident needs and health promotion.
• Supervise and assign nursing care to RPNs and PSWs as per routines.
• Participate in resident health education as appropriate.
