Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in the heart of the Canadian Rockies is seeking a server to join our luxury dining team. You will be an ambassador for exceptional service and cuisine, delivering warm, personal attention and knowledge of our Food & Beverage offerings to guests.

Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will assist guests with menu items, suggest pairings, upsell thoughtfully, and maintain expert knowledge of dishes while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of a-la-carte serving experience within the last 5 years.
• Successful completion of Food and Beverage test with 80% or above.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with menu items and make recommendations.
• Sell and up-sell food and beverage items in a positive manner.
• Maintain full knowledge of menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods.
• Deliver and present food items to guest tables.
• Process guest checks efficiently.
• Bus and re-set tables.
• Perform opening, cleaning, and closing duties.
• Handle guest concerns and recoveries according to brand standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and interactions.
• Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected.
• Other duties as assigned.
