Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Timmins is seeking a Non Ferrous Receiver. Under the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises and handling ferrous metals.

You will weigh trucks using the RECY system, operate the forklift, provide on-site customer service, and work safely in all weather. This is a full-time permanent position with vacation, benefits and RRSP matching; starting pay is CAD 25.75 per hour plus overtime after 44 hours.

Qualifications

• Good Computer Skills.
• Experience operating a crane.
• Experience in metal recycling is an asset.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good physical fitness.
• Ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals.
• Cover the scale and weigh in trucks using the RECY system to properly weigh and track the material.
• Do general maintenance of the premises.
• Ensure the equipment is in good condition.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients on site.
• Operate the forklift as required.
