Job description

Our client, a major oil and gas company, is seeking experienced Gas Plant Operators for their facility near Sundre, Alberta. The position involves a 7/7 shift schedule, working 12-hour days. We are hiring full-time workers, relief, and coverage operators who are local to the Sundre area.

You will be working at a natural gas processing facility with a capacity of 490 Mmcf/d, including sour gas treating, co-stream processing, NGL extraction, and 35,000 Bbls/d of NGL fractionation and terminalling. The facility also features a 450 Bbls/d frac oil processing unit, a 200 tonnes/d industrial-grade CO2 facility, and a 10,000 Bbls/d NGL truck offload station. The role involves extracting NGLs from raw natural gas, fractionating into ethane, propane, butane, and condensate, and providing storage and terminalling services for these products.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a production Gas Plant Operator
2. Experience with fractionation is an asset
3. Valid safety tickets (H2S, First Aid) and a clean driver’s abstract
4. Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
5. Strong problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
7. Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
