CA$40.00/hr - CA$45.00/hr

TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting a PLANT OPERATOR for an opportunity in the Greater Calgary Area in an Operating Plant environment.

Job Description

• Daily operation of the plant in a safe and efficient manner while managing facility production.
• Monitor facility readings, and quality control.
• Start up, operate and shut down unit operations within the plant with expertise;
• Participate in development, review, and modification of plant procedures.
• Support engineering and maintenance teams with various projects.
• Understand and follow safety and operational procedures in performing all facets of work;
• Perform process and equipment troubleshooting and call out maintenance for equipment repairs with appropriate priority level

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant Plant Operation experience required
• 3rd class Power Engineering Certificate or above is required
• Outstanding organizational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs.
• Proven experience using a DCS and PLC Systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety & Environment.
